Vistra Fund Services Plans To Expand With Advent

California-based Advent Software, the investment management software provider, is to equip Vistra Fund Services with their Advent Partner World Investor package, for the accounting and servicing of onshore and offshore funds. The company will also provide Vistra with Geneva, a portfolio management programme.

The fund services company will use the software to streamline its future expansion. The Vistra group provides wealth protection services and structuring for private and institutional clients. The fund services unit is based in the firm’s Luxembourg and Jersey offices. The subsidiary specialises in structuring and administrating alternative investment funds such as hedge funds, private equity and distressed land and property funds.

“We selected Advent Partner World Investor and Geneva because we needed an integrated platform to accommodate the high standard of service we want to provide to our clients,” said Bart Deconinck, chief executive of the Vistra Group.

“We have seen an increase in demand for bespoke hedge fund administration services and reporting for both existing and potential clients,” he added.

Advent Software is used in 60 countries worldwide.
